How will I know of school cancellations or delays due to severe weather or other emergencies?

In the event of severe weather conditions or other emergencies necessitating the closing or the delayed opening of schools, we will activate our automated phone call system. In addition, we will post information on the Paramus Public Schools website.

Under the Paramus delayed-opening plan, we delay all schedules by two hours. Please make sure your information is current in Honeywell, the system we use for emergency reports. To update Honeywell, please follow the directions provided on our district site.

Does my son or daughter need a physical to play sports or march in the band? Is there anything I need to do to enroll him or her in these activities?

Yes to both questions. We take health and safety very seriously. All participants must provide evidence of a physical exam (dated within 12 months) performed by a qualified medical agency. Print the physical exam form to take to your medical provider for completion. Additionally, all students must enroll for activities online at Family ID.
