Congratulations Isabella Verma

Isabella VermaDance New Jersey recently selected PHS dancer Isabella Verma as the recipient of the 2020 NJ Governor's Award for Excellence in Artistry & Leadership in Dance. She has been part of the PHS Dance department, Spartnettes Company, for the past three years and a member of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts.

Isabella created her original choreography piece about suicide prevention, “A Reason to Stay”, in Dance Honors. It was part of the Dance for Democracy & Social Consciousness unit, and she submitted it as part of the vigorous application, audition, and nomination process.

Isabella is now the third recipient from the Paramus Dance department to receive this distinguished award. (Award years are 2017, 2019, and 2020.) We look forward to attending her performance at the NJ Governors Award for Arts Education 40th Year Celebration on June 26 at Trenton Memorial. Truly a Paramus dance-proud honor!

Fun with Sewing Supplies

The Clothing 3 class recently created art projects using buttons. We love the colors and the creativity! The cupcakes look good enough to eat!
